Stay at home Dad

No baby should grow up without a good fatherly influence. As you can tell, these two boys are getting plenty.

Hmmm..., what would Mom think...?

Grant on the move

Easter

Yes, we are a little behind in our posts... Here's a taste of Grant's first Easter. We didn't hide eggs or make him a basket because he just wouldn't appreciate it. But we did color eggs and get some left-over candy from friends.

Grant took the hardboiled eggs and took a huge bite out of one (shell and all). He screamed when we took it away and we never did find the missing piece of shell. He's got an iron stomach.

He also spent time outside, a few days before Easter, eating dandelions. Are those poisonous?

Here's a few pictures of us in Portland. We took the train down and stayed for a few days with Shawn, Tasha and their 2 boys. We unfortunately didn't get many pictures, but happened to sneak one in during bathtime. Clayton and Packer are much more modest and didn't want their pictures shared with the rest of the world.

New bathtubs are fun, but new beds apparently are not. Grant woke up every few hours all 3 nights we were there. It's no wonder he fell asleep in Tasha's hand, as she was stroking his face. She has the magic touch. Where was she during those sleepless nights?

Ah, the train ride home... so beautiful. We scored a sleeper car and were able to spread out a little. We even had a free meal of dried out salmon and overcooked steak. No complaints, really, it was good food and good times and all free thanks to Dorothy's train credit.

(that's not a mark on the picture- he gouged his face with his nails during one of his fitfull nights)

Grant's New Tricks

So Grant is creeping up on 10 months old. Like any proud parents, we want to show off his newest tricks.

He can jump,

he can dance,

he tries to scare Mommy,

and he drinks his bath water?! Who did he learn that from if we don't have a family dog?

Oh yeah. And his biggest trick yet... He can crawl! For all those who thought this little tank was too big to move... see for yourself.

We are so proud of all you have accomplished Grant! Keep up the hard work and keep smiling. We love you.
