Barfing Baby

Apparently, Grant is a vegetarian. You may never think of processed, strained turkey the same way again. Enjoy...

Happy Valentine's Day, Will!!

Today we celebrate our love... and reflect on what brought us from this

...to this!

It's all about LOVE!

I remember...

Dating!!

The camping trip with our Queen Anne friends

Posing at the Seattle Center and going on top of the Space Needle for the first time!

Meeting you in LA, after being apart for almost a month

Being crazy enough to boogie board in February

Kissing in front of Grandma Ev at the Cheesecake Factory

Cheering for you and Jo Dee while you sang "My Little Buttercup"

Being giddy the night you proposed... I couldn't stop starring at my ring!

So we finally knew what LOVE really felt like- after waiting so long to find each other

And I'll never regret the choice we made to marry for time and all eternity

I don't even regret shoving cake in your face. It was done out of love!

I remember our honeymoon and the gorgeous beaches

Our first anniversary... with another cake fight

You still loved me even when I was HHUUUUGGGEEE

Love made us parents

and taught us how to share our lives with the cutest, funniest, happiest baby in the world!

I love you more and more every day

And our little man is a daily reminder of the blessing that LOVE has brought to our lives!

Beach Bums

Last weekend, Grant and I met up with Will in CA. We saw Amber and Dallin, Mike and Bri and their little baby, Celia. Here's some pictures of Grant in his swim suit, even though it was probably 55 degrees. He wasn't sure what he thought about the sand... or maybe he was just too cold to enjoy it!

He kept staring at the seagulls, like he was going to eat them.

Grandma Dorothy's freaking out right now

We ate at the most amazing breakfast place ever! Beach Break Cafe in Oceanside, CA- you gotta have their veggie omlet, coffe cake and banana granola crunch french toast!

Here's how Grant reacted to his new cousin:

moving...

Last weekend, we finally decided we needed more space. We were sick of our entire apartment acting as the baby room. So, we (Will) moved our bed out to the front room and put Grant's crib and dresser in our little den! Now we have this amazing hotel set up that actually works pretty well. Who says you can't keep a baby in a studio apartment? Look at this kid, playing on our bed during the messy move.
It took most of our Saturday, as we played tetrus to make everything fit. Most of our life's belongings are crammed under the bed, held up with cinderblocks like we had in our college days.

Here's Grant playing in his new room.

Grant's new favorite treat is sour green apples. We use his little mesh feeder, so he can naw on it. Sorry there's no video, but he makes the funniest smacking noises and has some pretty creative expressions.
