For Mother's Day, Will gave the boys (yes, that's plural) paint and paint brushes to make me a picture. Owen enjoyed that as much as Grant did. It was acrylic paint...
He is such an artist
And so humble about it
Then Will wrapped up my "gift" and pushed it into the kitchen. It was a giant box with giggles inside- the best kind of gift.
Will also make amazing chicken enchilladas without too much supervision or opinions from me. Dinner was delicious!
Theme of creativity continues with the placement of Moroni on the Gilbert Temple! Grant asked a lot of questions about who made it and how they did his nose. I just made up answers like usual.
Grant was a robot for a day thanks to Will's diaper box cutting skills.
Take a good look at this beautiful mane. Because Owen was sick a few weeks ago and kept pulling at his hair, I thought MAYBE it was getting too long. Then I did something I wished I hadn't. It wasn't a sin, just a minor transgression.
I cut the curls, 2 inches off the back, sides and top! Why didn't Will stop me? He just stood there taking pictures. Grant actually yelled at me, "Stop it Mom, he doesn't like it!!" But I couldn't really stop until it was even. So, he still has a lot of hair, just not so many curls. He hasn't been called a girl in 2 weeks! Now strangers use generic words like "baby" and "little one" because they are unsure...
Why is it that MY creativity ends up in fluorescent green walls, unused fabric and short hair?
