This camping trip was totally sunny! We hiked 4 1/2 miles up switchbacks and down into the lake basin. Melakwa was gorgeous. Here are a million pictures of our backpacking excersion...

I am so impressed that you attempted another backpacking trip!! It looks like this was much drier and much more fun! Thanks for sharing so many great photos. You have some fun shots. I especially liked the one with Grant on April in Will's shadow. :) Love ya, Maria
glad it was finally sunny. I don't know if I would have tried camping with a baby again so soon, but Grant seems to have done beautifully!
