Christmas Vacation

This is what our place in Seattle looked like before we left for Arizona! A white Christmas! We took advantage of it and tried to play outside. Unfortunately, our little guy caught a cold and was sick the whole vacation. He was still happy, though!

We had our own Christmas the night before we went on vacation. Grant looks tired because he was, plus he had a cold. The first gift he opened was a little toy car from Grandma Dorothy. We loved the car... Grant loved the wrapping paper and the bow!

He met his Great Aunt Kim and Uncle Mark for the first time.

This cousin is 2 years old. She insisted on holding "baby" Grant. As you can see, he is twice her size and almost smashed her.

Grant met his new friend, Cali. She is the daughter of Will's mission buddy. They really liked each other and we had to take a picture.

After about a week, it was time to leave the sun and go home. We rode first class back to Seattle... Grant was too excited to sleep. Oh, and his tongue is hanging out in almost every picture because he's feeling his new teeth! We'll post pictures when we can capture a good shot. They're barely poking through, but he loves running his tongue across them.
