Cousins in Portland

Last weekend we took advantage of Will's meeting in Portland and made a mini-vacation. We saw Grant's cousins, Clayton and Packer. They had a great time making forts, going to DQ and having a sleep-over.

Packer was pretty good about not poking Grant's eye's out... as tempting as it was. He decided to wait until Grant could defend himself.

What a georgeous Sunday! We took a walk and didn't get very far without the boys stopping for blackberries. When Will kept reminding Clayton to stay out of the road, he said, "I'm trying to teach you to be safe." Clayton's response: "Only parents can teach! Not babysitters!" Well, now we know.

We had to take the "bath time" pictures. Grant was somewhat confused. He's never had to share his bath with anyone before.

What can I say? He's an only child.

Thank you SO much for making that such an awesome weekend for us! We owe you guys BIG time. Hmm, I wonder what Clayton's smiling about in that picture...perhaps the ice cream.:) Every time we pass DQ now he says "That's the place Uncle Will taked me and it was soooo good!"
